The Glens Falls School District is accepting applications for an anticipated probationary Grade 4 teacher effective 9/1/26.
Successful candidate responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum and state learning standards. Develop lessons that are rigorous, engaging, and differentiated to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Implement effective instructional practices that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and student ownership of learning. Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and measure mastery of essential learning standards. Work collaboratively with grade-level teams, special education staff, interventionists, and administrators to plan instruction and support student success. Contribute to a positive and professional school culture focused on continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications Minimum Job Requirements:
