Elementary Classroom Teacher

Elementary Classroom Teacher (Grades K-4) Saint Gregory's School, located in Loudonville, NY, is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our faculty. As a Pre-K through Grade 8 school, we are committed to educating the whole child through strong academics, character development, and a nurturing, faith-filled community. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners and creates a warm, structured classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a positive, organized, and faith-centered classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning Teach core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, and social studies using engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Plan and implement lessons that support a range of learning styles and abilities, including differentiated and small-group instruction Integrate critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on learning opportunities into daily instruction Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide timely, meaningful feedback Maintain clear and consistent communication with families regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and school activities Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success and strengthen the overall program Participate actively in school life, including meetings, events, and community-building activities

Qualifications:
