This role offers an opportunity to guide young learners through their formative years, fostering a love of discovery within a structured, nurturing, and attentive setting. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a thoughtful approach to early childhood education. Through small group instruction and individualized support, the teacher will help students develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills, while also promoting social-emotional growth, independence, and confidence. The position plays a key role in creating a balanced classroom experience where each child is known, supported, and encouraged to thrive both academically and socially. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Create a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports each child's growth Provide individualized and small group instruction to support a range of learning needs Foster foundational reading, writing, and communication skills through hands-on and interactive learning experiences Establish clear routines and maintain consistent, positive classroom management Monitor student progress and maintain regular, thoughtful communication with families Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and contribute to school-wide initiatives and events Participate in and support school events and activities as part of the broader school community Support students' social-emotional development, encouraging independence, confidence, and respectful behavior Utilize classroom technology and learning tools to support instruction and organization Participate in faculty meetings and ongoing professional development Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required Master's degree preferred Teaching certification preferred At least one year of teaching experience preferred, ideally in a kindergarten or early childhood setting Strong understanding of early childhood development and foundational learning Must be legally authorized to work in the
United States Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
