Elementary Teacher

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan lessons, keep records of grades, grade papers, correspond with parents, etc. Utilize various Spanish curriculum resources Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served in our Dual Language classrooms Assess students' academic and language development progress through formal and informal evaluations. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement and well-being. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methods, language acquisition research, and educational technology. Incorporate cultural materials and perspectives into the curriculum to enhance students' learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other required documentation. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
