In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage dynamic classrooms, and support the holistic development of children from age 6-9 years or 1-3rd grade. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students build foundational skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning, setting them up for lifelong success. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with Montessori curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies. Incorporate hands on learning materials to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Assess student progress regularly through observation, formative and summative evaluations. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students needing extra help, including those with special education needs. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students individual development. Engage in curriculum development efforts to ensure age-appropriate content that fosters literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with education administration standards. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or early childhood settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies. Familiarity with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience working in private school settings.
