Early Childhood School Lead Teacher (Kindergarten) The Miami Valley School (MVS). Here, we learn because we do. The Role. The Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher must be a passionate and skillful teacher, who is eager to invest their talents in our Early Childhood school program. They must establish a supportive and engaging environment for Early Childhood school students, work collaboratively with colleagues and parents, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a desire to embrace immersion method into their teaching. In addition, this teacher will have completed coursework or possess teaching experience in specific subfields of elementary education (e.g.classroom/ behavior management, social and emotional learning, child development, subject expertise etc.) related to his/her teaching responsibilities. In your role as a teaching assistant at MVS, you will work alongside dedicated faculty who have taught and learned all over the world and in a variety of school contexts. In this position you will be a lead teacher in a classroom with Kindergarten students.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead teacher in Kindergarten or within the Early Childhood School Develop and propose new units each year, including new Immersions Fulfill all other faculty responsibilities that may occur outside the school day, including writing progress reports and planning, attending school-related functions, which include but are not limited to: Caregiver Information Night (CIN) and Parent-Teacher Conferences Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Master Degree in Education Certificate in Elementary Education, preferred Desire to work with early childhood school students in an experiential setting Benefits.
