Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teachers for Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) and Upper Elementary (grades 4-6) to join our vibrant community starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a respectful and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement Montessori-based lessons for students in Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) or Upper Elementary (grades 4-6). Foster a classroom environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and respect Observe and assess student progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success Maintain a well-prepared classroom that aligns with Montessori materials and philosophy Promote social-emotional development and positive behavior strategies Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Experience teaching at the elementary level or willingness to develop the skills to do so Current ODE licensure in Elementary Education preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team Passion for working with young children and fostering a love of learning
