Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd grade teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love of Christian education. In this role, you will create a vibrant classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students develop foundational skills in literacy, math, and social studies while supporting their individual needs through personalized instruction. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students. Utilize various teaching strategies, including differentiated instruction and learning technology, to meet diverse student needs. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques and clear expectations. Collaborate with colleagues, specialists (such as special education and speech therapists), and parents to support student development. Incorporate early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices to enhance learning experiences. Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management. Support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lessons accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with education administration standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Prior classroom experience working with children in an early childhood or elementary setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring, and working with students with autism or other special needs is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proficiency in learning technology tools and library services relevant to educational settings. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and working with children from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of private school teaching experience is a plus. Pay:
