QUALIFICATIONS
1. A valid, active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Elementary K-6, Elementary Pk-4 or N-3, required for Grade 3 position or Elementary K-6, Elementary Pk-4 with 5-6 add on for Grade 5 position 2. One (1) to three (3) years of experience at the Elementary level is preferred 3. Skilled in the use of G-Suite, student information systems, and willingness to explore and work with new technologies 4. Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills required 5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required 6. Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and work as part of a team 7. Self-motivated; demonstrated initiative and ability to follow through with completion of tasks 8. Ability to build trust and positive working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups. 9. Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, while remaining logical and interpers 10. Ability to effectively present information and articulately respond to questions from administrators, staff, parents, students, business and educational partners, and the general public 11. Demonstrated leadership skills 12. Data-driven decision making skills 13. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE
A teacher must demonstrate knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies and formative and summative assessments to facilitate student success and growth in academic and social/emotional skills. The teacher creates a flexible and safe learning environment and provides effective feedback on student progress.
PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Models and exemplifies the district's core values 2. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning 3. Plans and prepares daily lessons based on formative assessment data that includes a variety of instructional methods for the purpose of addressing individual student learning styles 4. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs, including students with special needs 5. Conducts individual, small group, and large group instruction as appropriate 6. Provides assessment feedback to the students, parents and administration in a timely manner 7. Make all necessary referrals to the guidance counselors, the Student Assistance Program (SAP), MTSS and/or special education 8. Collaborates with instructional staff, other school personnel, and parents and others for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student learning 9. Reviews and implements all Specially Designed Instruction (SDI's) and student with 504 Plan accommodations or modification 10. Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws 11. Responds appropriately to emergency situations according to the Safety plan 12. Manages student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment that maximizes instructional time. 13. Monitors students in a variety of educational environments for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment. 14. Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents 15. Coordinates with other elementary professional staff members, especially within grade level, to evaluate and assess curriculum, and participates in faculty 16. Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research 17. Performs other duties as assigned by Building Principal and/or designee
