Do you enjoy teaching through creative play and activities? We are a small, growing company looking for part-time teachers to provide Spanish Enrichment to a variety of local preschools and elementary schools. We are now hiring teachers for the 2026-2027 school year! About Us Spanish Exploradores is building community, one child at a time. We believe learning should be fun, so we incorporate singing, games, and activities into our lessons. If teachers aren't having fun teaching, students aren't having fun learning! Our approach is immersion-style teaching. Our students acquire language through doing. Teachers introduce language through activities or by showing students without saying the word in English to expand their Spanish vocabulary. We offer Spanish enrichment programs at schools in the following locations: Bala Cynwyd Merion Station Havertown Wayne Malvern Newtown Square Media Aston West Chester Plymouth Meeting Philadelphia About the role: Daytime Spanish Teacher The Daytime Spanish Teacher will travel to one or more preschools/elementary schools during the school day to provide Spanish Enrichment to students. We are looking for enthusiastic educators with a passion for sharing Spanish language and culture with young learners. The ideal candidate is a native or fluent Spanish speaker with experience teaching in an early childhood education classroom.

Part Time Schedule:

Approximately 2-10 hours per week Weekdays during typical school hours (anywhere between 9am to 3pm) The actual schedule will depend on each location and how many classes you teach. If schedules allow and teachers are interested, additional hours or full-time positions may be available.

Hourly Rate:

$50

• 70 per hour, depending on experience and performance We are looking for candidates with the following qualities or experience: Command of Spanish and fully bilingual in English/Spanish Native speakers or lived in Latin America preferred 2+ years teaching experience in early childhood classroom Passionate about teaching and speaking Spanish Enjoys working with young children Ability to be silly and have a good sense of humor with kids Ability to manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures Creative and experienced with arts & crafts Ability to work independently Strong organizational skills Excellent time management skills Capability to teach courses in Spanish following the course of study and curriculum Ability to carry 25lbs (craft materials, learning materials)•required Personal transportation•car required Valid driver's license Must be willing to take a drug test, in accordance with local law/regulations

License/Certification Requirements:

Driver's License FBI Criminal Background Check PA State Police Background Clearance PA Child Abuse History Clearance CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
