Salary Send applications or inquiries to: Job Description Saint Cyril of Alexandria Academy, opening Fall 2026, is seeking PreK-4th Grade Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity to serve as part of the founding faculty of a new classical Catholic school in the Pittsburgh region. Saint Cyril of Alexandria Academy is an independent Catholic school created and funded by a group of lay people. It is a financially independent, non-profit school governed by a board of directors and supported by benefactors and modest tuition. Saint Cyril of Alexandria Academy is the second school established by the Miraculous Medal Academies Foundation and is modeled after the first, South Hills Catholic Academy (SHCA). The Academy is built on 3 pillars: Ensuring that a Catholic education is accessible to all children in the Pittsburgh region. Preparing students for higher education through a curriculum based on traditional education. Providing a rich spiritual formation with a vibrant sacramental and devotional life at the center of the school mission. We are looking for Preschool and Elementary School Teachers who can assist in bringing these three pillars to life at Saint Cyril of Alexandria Academy while working closely with the administration team to implement our classical curriculum. Our PreK-8 program is intentionally designed to cultivate wonder, attentiveness, and a love of learning in young students. K-4 teachers will help students build strong foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, and the Catholic faith while guiding them in the habits of order, attentiveness, and joyful participation in the life of the classroom. Instruction incorporates curricula from the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW), Saxon Math, Spirit of Truth, Nancy Larson Science, and others. All teachers at Saint Cyril of Alexandria Academy play an important role in the intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation of students and are expected to support the Catholic mission of the school.
