Location:
C.E.Cole Intermediate School (High-Needs School) Current PA Teaching Certification in Pk-4 or Pk-6 required. The teacher will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students in an elementary classroom, planning and delivering instruction across core subjects, assessing student progress, and promoting social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards. Teach core subjects - reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Utilize a variety of instructional methods, materials, and resources to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Establish and enforce rules, expectations, and routines to foster respect and cooperation. Address disciplinary issues promptly and constructively. Monitor and evaluate student progress on a regular basis. Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Prepare report cards and conduct parent-teacher conferences. Promote social skills, emotional well-being, and positive behavior. Identify and support students' individual needs, referring to specialists when necessary. Work with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance educational outcomes. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and curriculum planning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress, concerns, and successes. Provide resources and strategies to support learning at home. Plan and participate in extracurricular or school-wide events. Maintain records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in elementary education. The candidate must be certificated to teach K - 6 in the state of PA.
Skills:
Strong organizational and classroom management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners. Prior teaching experience or student teaching is preferred but not required.

Teaching certificate Transcripts Clearances within a year's time Three (3) references
