Aug 17, 2026 Job Description Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a English Learners (EL, ELL and/or ESL) position(s) available at Tyler Run Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. This position will help students learn subject matters and skills that will facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students; guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure (i.e., a

TESOL K-12

license or TESOL endorsement) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Employment status: Certified, 185-day employment contract Qualifications for the position include: Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring).

NOTE:

If you are an ESC employee, intern, off-staff advisor/coach, short- or long-term substitute, or student teacher you must apply as an external candidate.
