Part-time Elementary and Middle School Grades K-8 Teacher

About us: Sage Test Prep has been serving students for over 15 years, with locations in Flushing, Bayside, Little Neck, and Jericho. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including afterschool programs, school subject tutoring, and test preparation for exams such as the SHSAT, SAT, APs, MCAT, and LSAT as well as national competitions. We also have a research program, computer classes, and college consulting. Our mission is to support students academically and guide them toward admission into their desired high schools and colleges. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, engaging, and knowledgeable Part-Time Elementary & Middle School Teacher to join our team at our Little Neck location at 251-11 Northern Blvd, Little Neck, NY 11362 or Bayside at 45-46 Bell Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, can explain concepts clearly, and is passionate about helping students succeed academically. Responsibilities Teach elementary and/or middle school students in: Math English Language Arts (ELA) Homework support Study and organizational skills Lead small group classes and one-on-one tutoring sessions Prepare lesson materials and practice assignments Track student progress and communicate updates when needed Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Help students improve confidence, academic performance, and study habits Qualifications Must hold a valid teaching certification in NYS Experience teaching or tutoring elementary and/or middle school students Strong communication and classroom management skills Patient, organized, and dependable Ability to teach multiple grade levels is preferred How to
