Certification Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a General Education Teacher (Kindergarten) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Summerville, SC. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state and school curriculum standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Deliver engaging instruction that promotes student learning and participation. Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and maintain accurate records. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Establish and maintain effective classroom management practices. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and needs. Collaborate with administrators, special education staff, and other educators to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required. Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Required Qualifications Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) Teaching Certification/Licensure. Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, classroom management, and child development. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Commitment to fostering an equitable and engaging learning environment. Ability to pass all required background checks and comply with district hiring requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous elementary or kindergarten teaching experience. Experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary students. Familiarity with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching practices. Experience working with diverse student populations.
