Wallace S. Smith Elementary is a K-5 school located in Ooltewah, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. We are a diverse and high performing school that offers a sense of family and provides a nurturing environment for students. Many extracurricular activities are available for students and teachers such as: science olympiad, student leadership, school musical, sports, news team, flag team, and safety patrol. Our school offers many leadership opportunities for students and teachers. Teachers from our school have gone on to be principals, assistant principals, district curriculum specialists and instructional coaches. Qualifications Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

Compensation & Additional Info:

Salary Scale based on education and experience - starting at $50,000.00 Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan Benefits Licensure Subject to change.
