Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Patience, creativity, optimism, resilience and adaptability. Experience teaching a variety of learning levels to target specific deficit areas. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various school constituents. Proficient technology skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Well-versed in educational best practices for teaching elementary school children.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Personalize and customize instruction to best personalize learners' needs in grades 1-5. Develop learning experiences to fill learning gaps. Promote the best interests of each child in their classroom. Use appropriate technology in support of the curriculum Lessons should reflect developmentally appropriate skills, a logical sequence of topics, and reasonable student assessments. Plan and execute classroom activities and routines that meet both individual students' needs. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Utilize data to inform instructional decisions.
