Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create individualized, learner-centered environments that empower students across all areas of life while ensuring rigorous academic standards. Our educators are dedicated to the long-term social and emotional health of their students and play a vital role in shaping a close-knit community.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate extraordinary professionalism in service of Tamim's mission. Design, strengthen, and lead positive learning environments that support individualized and collaborative learning. Build strong relationships with students and colleagues to contribute to both individual and collective success. Develop and facilitate engaging, authentic learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students. Utilize in-depth knowledge of content and assessment techniques to engage learners effectively. Promote student agency and ownership over learning, employing whole-child instructional strategies. Maintain an open, welcoming classroom, fostering a positive collaborative experience for visitors. Contribute actively to the growth of Tamim Academy, engaging in the broader life of the school and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Education (preferred). Prior classroom teaching experience, especially with relevant age groups. Experience in creating whole-child learning activities and fostering social-emotional learning. Passion for engaging children in student-driven learning. Commitment to continuous professional growth and a collaborative mindset.

A proactive and positive communicator who thrives in a start-up environment. A solution-oriented educator dedicated to helping all children succeed. Comfortable with change and ambiguity while maintaining a friendly and poised demeanor.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Tuition assistance (when applicable). Seeking to hire effective August 2026.
