We serve the local population of Torreón as well as many foreign families living in and around Torreón. See our website at www.cat.mx We are looking for 2 Lower Elementary teachers to begin in August 2026. These positions would require relocation to Torreón, México. Job Summary Lower Elementary Homeroom at CAT includes grades 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Lower Elementary teachers at CAT work collaboratively with teams of teachers who design and implement Project Based Learning while integrating Common Core and NGSS standards and best teaching practices and engaging students in the core subjects; literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies. We are looking for an experienced elementary homeroom teacher who demonstrates a growth mindset and is willing to collaborate with grade level teams to plan and execute interdisciplinary projects while providing a caring and student centered environment. Knowledge of Science of Reading and Best Practices in early literacy is required. Duties Facilitate and foster strong classroom community Facilitate project based learning through grade level collaboration Encourage student inquiry and problem solving Assess student learning through common, formal and summative tasks Create authentic learning experiences that encourage student voice and choice Collaborate with stakeholders to support students social and emotional development Work with parents to ensure they understand their child's needs and how they can collaborate with school to support their child Professional Qualification Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) Current Teaching License Minimum of two years teaching experience Growth Mindset Willing to contribute to collaborative teams
