We are a non-profit private educational entity dedicated to providing high-quality education to preschool through Kindergarten. Summary We are seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Little Horizons Academy in Garland, TX. This role is vital in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in our students. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a key role in implementing our curriculum and supporting the educational journey of our students. Responsibilities Develop and implement an engaging curriculum tailored for kindergarten students. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed. Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere. Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning. Organize classroom activities that promote literacy and numeracy skills. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs. Familiarity with behavior management techniques is preferred. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
