The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role requires a commitment to nurturing the intellectual and emotional development of students, while implementing effective teaching strategies and curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs. Duties Implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in subjects such as literacy. Utilize classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, through tailored instruction and mentoring. Assess student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Foster early childhood education principles, focusing on childhood development and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and share best practices for effective teaching. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Experience Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience in library services or knowledge of literacy education is beneficial.
