This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting the developmental needs of young learners. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, science, social studies, and creative arts for first-grade students Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and active participation among students Utilize diverse teaching strategies and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support individual student needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants to foster professional growth and classroom excellence Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred Proven classroom experience working with young children in an educational setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management Familiarity with learning technology tools and library services to enhance student engagement Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or requiring special education services Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to support student achievement Demonstrated skills in behavior management, childcare practices, and early intervention strategies Join us in shaping the future by providing a nurturing environment where young learners thrive!
