Job Description

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Lufkin, TX Full-time Full-time Job Summary Seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a small Catholic School environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that foster growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Duties Design and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, and math. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Support children's social-emotional development by promoting cooperation, empathy, and self-regulation skills. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs. Conduct assessments to monitor developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Proven experience in classroom management and curriculum development for preschool. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
