This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead classroom activities, develop innovative curricula, and foster a joyful learning atmosphere for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a deep understanding of childhood development to support each child's growth and curiosity. As a key team member, you will collaborate with colleagues and families to create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom experience that promotes literacy, social-emotional skills, and foundational knowledge. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development techniques such as Montessori methods and literacy education strategies Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, social interaction, and physical development through teaching physical education and hands-on experiences Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment Assess student progress regularly through observations and standardized testing, adjusting instructional approaches to meet individual needs Collaborate with specialists in special education and early intervention to support children requiring additional assistance or tailored learning plans Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom events Maintain organized classroom management practices that ensure smooth daily operations, safety protocols, and adherence to childcare regulations Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Background in curriculum development with expertise in literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is preferred Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Certification or licensure in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate play-based learning, STEM concepts, and social-emotional learning Join us as a Lead Primary Teacher (PreK Teacher) to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives!
