Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Transitional Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during this critical stage of childhood development. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early intervention, literacy education, and social-emotional growth. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of transitional kindergarten students, incorporating standards-based learning strategies. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Engage in ongoing lesson planning focused on literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills development. Manage classroom routines effectively to foster independence and respect among students. Incorporate child welfare practices into daily activities to ensure the well-being of each child in your care. Ability to maintain a safe environment adhering to childcare standards and regulations, child welfare policies, and health & safety standards while fostering a joyful learning space. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for early learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents & colleagues. Prior experience in private schools or daycare environments is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
