The Lead Teacher will create and maintain a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Montessori classroom environment that fosters independence, curiosity, respect, and a lifelong love of learning. $20.00-$22.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Key Responsibilities Plan and implement a high-quality Montessori curriculum aligned with Montessori philosophy and best practices. Prepare and maintain an organized, attractive, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment. Guide students in their academic, social, emotional, and practical life development. Observe and assess student progress and maintain accurate records. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth, classroom activities, and developmental milestones. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom. Collaborate effectively with administrators, assistant teachers, and other staff members. Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as needed. Qualifications Required Montessori Teaching Certificate Experience working with young children in a Montessori classroom setting. Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methodology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
