Aug 1, 2026 Job Description The Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking an elementary educator to join our Spanish Immersion program at Richmond Elementary School. We are looking for a bilingual educator to bring passion for student learning, family involvement and curriculum design to our school community. It is essential that the educator for this position have high levels of fluency in Spanish and English as well as a strong background in elementary education. The ideal candidate will:- Exemplify the belief that positive relationships are the foundation for meaningful classroom experiences.
- Motivate and inspire students to take chances in learning, and to try new things.
- Design and promote learning experiences that celebrate diversity and individual strengths.
- Demonstrate proactive, trauma-informed classroom management strategies.
- Have knowledge of and experience with implementing PBIS strategies.
- Nurture and promote self-discovery, respect, cooperation, and growth mindset in students.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with families.
- Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues.
- Seek and embrace constructive feedback with the perspective that continuous growth is essential for professional fulfillment.
- Use data and evidence to self-evaluate current practices and to shape classroom experiences to best meet student's needs.
