Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to inspire and educate students in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a positive learning environment, support student growth, and develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs. As a vital member of our educational team, you will implement curriculum standards, utilize innovative learning technology, and promote social-emotional development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape young minds and cultivate a love for learning in a dynamic classroom setting. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade students Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters curiosity Incorporate diverse teaching strategies including literacy education, math instruction, and science activities to meet varied student needs Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management skills Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing preparation Collaborate with colleagues, specialists (such as special education teachers), and parents to support individual student success Integrate learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive lessons Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with education administration standards Promotes Catholic Identity through lessons and role modeling Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification for elementary grades required Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, staff, and community partners Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for instructional purposes Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while fostering a nurturing environment Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management strategies Join us in creating an inspiring educational space where young learners thrive! Pay:
$37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
