5th Grade Teacher

5• Grade Teacher •- Full Time Faculty Holy Spirit Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic and caring team player that will utilize and continue our strong academic excellence and Catholic faith. The candidate must practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom. They must communicate and collaborate with parents, staff, and administration while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education required, Elementary Education preferred or applicable experience in the elementary classroom setting. Wyoming Teacher Certification preferred Agrees to support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Energetic, creative, and faith-filled Knowledgeable about best practices in education Willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with HSCS's mission and philosophy.

Responsibilities:

Promote Catholic Identity and school's mission through lessons and role modeling. Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students. Plans and implements effective lesson plans that meet individual needs, interests, abilities Monitors and assesses student progress. Maintains a positive and professional attitude, demeanor and work habits at all times. Treats all children with dignity and respect, while maintaining positive educational relationships with students. Works with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere. Communicating and collaborating with parents, staff, and administration for optimal student progress regarding academic, behavioral, or safety concerns. Maintaining confidentiality regarding school matters. Teaches 3rd - 6th Social Studies, Technology, Writing and possibly Religion.
