3 Merced, CA Job Details Part-time $70,977 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Working with students University teaching experience Teaching University experience Full Job Description The Electrical Engineering department in the School of Engineering anticipates hiring full and/or part-time lecturer positions to teach the following courses for Academic Year 2026-2027: EE 001: Electrical Engineering Introduction EE 005: Designing and Building Electrical Engineering Systems EE 021: Introduction to Electrical Engineering Programming EE 060: Digital Systems Design EE 065: Electrical Circuit Theory EE 101: Electronic Circuit Design

Signal Processing and Linear Systems EE 105: Semiconductor Devices EE 115: Electromagnetics and Applications EE 120: AC and RF Circuit Analysis EE 122: Introduction to Control Systems EE 131: Power Electronics EE 135: Aerospace Power Electronics and Systems EE 140: Microcontroller Architecture and Embedded Systems EE 160: Electric Power Systems Other courses as needed In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor is responsible for creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (minimum 2 hours/week), and grading examinations and/or papers. The instructor may also be required to hold discussion sections or supervise a graduate student teaching assistant or reader. This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement.   • 5/31/2027 QUALIFICATIONS Basic qualifications Advanced degree in a relevant area or related field and experience teaching at the college or university level are required.
Must be able to provide a record of excellence in teaching that demonstrates broad experience working with students of different abilities, ethnic backgrounds, and educational attainment.
