FCPS works closely with a variety of stakeholders to build the world-class school district our community deserves, including the University of Kentucky and other institutions of higher education; the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government; various civic, service, and faith-based organizations; and a range of corporate community members. The past several years have seen exceptional improvement in school and district academic performance, with Fayette County scoring among the highest performing school districts in Kentucky. In addition, Fayette County continues to concentrate on expansion of World Language and visual and performing arts programming.
