PIA's Hagerstown campus is hiring for a fulfilling Aviation Maintenance Instructor position that allows you to give back while enjoying great daytime hours and no weekend commitments! Teaching experience is a plus, but not required, as we will provide instructional training. The Aviation Maintenance Instructor is a Salary Exempt position.

Schedule:

Regular hours Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm

Aviation Maintenance Instructor Qualifications and Skills Minimum Requirements:

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification 3+ years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required. Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Aviation Maintenance Instructor Responsibilities and Duties Conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance.
