Hiring Department Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Job Description The Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a lecturer faculty position in Systems Engineering, with primary responsibility for developing and preparing graduate-level coursework in Digital Engineering, specifically
SYS ENG 6543
Digital Engineering. The successful candidate will develop and prepare course materials related to systems engineering concepts, methods, and tools in digital engineering, distributed systems architecting, modeling, analysis, simulation, and representation. The course should emphasize the transition from traditional document-centric systems engineering approaches to model-centric and digital engineering approaches, with attention to practical applications in complex engineered systems. Primary Responsibility The lecturer faculty member will be expected to develop and prepare the following graduate level course:

Digital Engineering — LEC 3.0 This course discusses issues related to distributed systems architecting, modeling, analysis, and representation, with specific focus on the digital systems engineering domain. Distributed modeling techniques and other model decomposition methods using simulation modeling and scalability issues will also be addressed.
