PIA's Pittsburgh campus is hiring for a fulfilling Electronics Instructor position that allows you to give back while enjoying great daytime hours and no weekend commitments!
Salary Starting at:
$60,000
Qualifications and Skills Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of verifiable industry experience (aviation or military aviation preferred) Associate degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance, Electronics, or related area FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification preferred but not required We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required. Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email. Experience with basic electricity Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Responsibilities and Duties Faculty members conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance.
