Category Faculty The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 522: Storytelling with Data Intelligence. This is a required research course and the building block for subsequent research classes. This course will provide the foundations of quantitative research, the basics of storytelling with data, and critical thinking skills in public relations, advertising, and related fields. Students are required to develop a qualitative in-depth interview or focus group discussion guide, a quantitative survey, and use emerging methods for web and social media analytics. Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials. The hourly range for this position is $37.88 - $46.96.
