Ongoing Job Posting:
Adjunct Professor of Theatre The Department of Theatre at Central Connecticut State University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time appointment as adjunct instructors in theatre.
Required Qualifications:
  • An MA (or higher) in Theatre
  • Evidence of experience teaching at the university level or equivalent professional experience in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MFA in Theatre
  • Evidence of quality teaching experience at the university level
  • Evidence of quality directing experience
Responsibilities:
  • Instruction in assigned area of theatre (1-3 credits/course)
  • Participation in production meetings (if applicable) In accordance with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Collective Bargaining Union Contract, compensation for the Adjunct position can be found in Article 12.
8 of the contract and are quoted by credit hour. For more information, please visit 2021-2025 AAUP Collective Bargaining Union Contract.
