ADJUNCT/NON-CREDIT INSTRUCTOR CATEGORY/LEVEL
Adjunct Faculty
BASIC FUNCTION
Provide instruction for credit Building Trades courses and non-credit Welding courses to students at the Mason City High School. The schedule is to teach half days (mornings) both fall and spring semesters.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Prepare for and deliver instruction in the content area, aligning with course competencies, syllabi, and College policies and procedures. Perform work according to assigned schedule.
  • Evaluate, record, and report attendance; assess student performance and provide regular, constructive feedback.
  • Be regularly available to meet with students as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, students, and faculty at both NIACC and Mason City High School.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills, demonstrate reliability, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Fulfill other responsibilities as needed or assigned. Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
