Pay Range:
$40.00

Summary:
Adjunct Faculty members are assigned specific courses to teach based on their specialty education and experience. This is a temporary, part-time position and Adjunct Faculty members may work as needed. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
Master's degree or earned Doctorate in applicable area to the profession required. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for Instructor-level roles. Excellent skills in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction and evaluation. Knowledge and experience with Web-Based education when applicable. Excellent communication and organizational abilities in managing class functions, clinical sites as applicable, and students. Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities. Ability to consistently instruct and counsel students in an informative and professional manner. Able and willing to learn new skills as needed, especially to work with new instructional technologies. Ability to develop and implement courses and programs. Ability to organize and implement effective teaching assignments.

Develops and maintains courses, and other content areas in the curriculum in accordance with national accreditation standards. Instructs and assists in multiple courses in the program as assigned. Develops and seeks outcomes assessments for the program and courses taught. Interacts with existing programs in the department and teaches as assigned in these programs. Other duties as assigned.
