https://www.svcc.edu/employees/opportunities/benefits.html The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and reports directly to the Director of Business, Career & Technical Programs (or appropriate Academic Dean, depending on discipline). To be mindful of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Deliver engaging and effective classroom, lab, or clinical instruction tailored to the specific discipline. Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. The successful candidate must possess experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems and the multi-craft industry. A Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent education and experience is preferred . Preference will be given to individuals who have high school and community college teaching and/or training experience, demonstrate a commitment to the community college philosophy, have experience with assessment of student learning outcomes, and have familiarity or experience with internet instruction.
