Job Description:
First Year at Siena Seminar (FYSM) is an interdisciplinary program with a focus on introducing first year students to the intellectual life of college and beyond. Instructors must be able to teach the same section(s) in both Fall 2026 and in Spring 2027. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding teaching in higher education and a commitment to first-year students.
Job Requirements:
Substantial experience teaching all of the following is required: college-level writing, reading, research, and critical thinking. Familiarity with Canvas is desired. A terminal degree is preferred.

$1333.34 per contact hour The hiring pay rate above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
