Job Description:
The Humanities & Social Sciences Department at Onondaga Community College is currently inviting applications from qualified individuals to teach Introductory Composition and Second-level Composition (with an emphasis on literature).
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience teaching at a community college. Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.
Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
