Tri-County Technical College (TCTC) is seeking collaborative, enthusiastic, and innovative Adjunct Spanish Instructors to join our Arts and Sciences Division. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on maintaining a robust and dynamic Associate of Arts program.

Position Responsibilities Instruction :

Teach introductory and intermediate Spanish courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction.

Flexible Delivery :

Maintain availability to teach Spanish courses across multiple modalities and settings, including community campuses, dual enrollment in local high schools, and online formats (synchronous and asynchronous).

Scheduling :

Flexibility for morning and evening classes based on departmental needs.

Student Records :

Maintain accurate records of student academic progress and attendance.

Assessment :

Evaluate and support student progress and content mastery through relevant assessment and student feedback.

Collaboration :

Demonstrate a high level of collegiality and partnership within a highly integrated and supportive divisional structure. Minimum and Additional Requirements To ensure high standards of academic excellence and credentialing, applicants must possess: A master's degree in Spanish or a master's degree in any field with 18 graduate hours in Spanish . Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and strong English communication skills. Unofficial transcripts must be submitted with the online application; applications without transcripts will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience at the college or community college level . Experience teaching online or hybrid courses . Familiarity with ACTFL proficiency guidelines and communicative language teaching. Experience working with first-generation, dual enrollment, or non-traditional students . Proficiency in using educational technology , including Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard.
