Department Summary The College of Science at the University of North Texas consists of the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and the interdisciplinary programs Teach North Texas, BioDiscovery Institute, Advanced Environmental Research Institute, and Interdisciplinary Program in Applied and Computational Science. Science Success Seminar is a one-credit-hour first-year seminar course for incoming College of Science students. Minimum Qualifications A Master's Degree. Experience advising or teaching college students. Preferred Qualifications UNT academic advising or student service experience. Required License/Registration/Certifications Physical Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information. Environmental Hazards No adverse environmental conditions expected.
