ESL PROGRAM ASSESSMENT PROCTOR PTE II
Tacoma, WA Job Details $24.64 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Faculty collaboration Standardized test administration Appointment scheduling Test-based student assessment Entry level Full Job Description JOB Under the supervision of the Dean of Instruction and High School Operations, this position works collaboratively with ESL program faculty and staff supporting ESL students taking placement tests. This position supports the ESL program with placement testing development, review and proctor. This is a grant funded position up to 17 hours/week.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Functions Contact and make appointments with perspective, new and countinuing ESL students with placement tests.

Help ESL test takers accurately complete admission and registration forms.

Proctor the classroom and testing lab to assist ESL students and test takers.

Distribute materials, monitor students work and provide feedback to ensure the students complete the ESL placmenet tests.

Work with other ESL department members to keep track of student testing needs, schedules and results. Non-Essential/Other Functions Accountable for keeping personal development up-to-date; adding to skills and knowledge through courses that may be available through the Bates Technical College courses, professional development committees, etc. Participate actively and collaboratively on committees for college as needed including but not limited to staff recruitment, college councils, etc.
