Part Time Highschool Writing and Language Arts Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a Part Time High School Writing and Language Arts Teacher to work one on one with homeschooled student in writing, vocabulary and grammar. Four days per week (Monday-Thursdays), 2.5 hours daily, morning hours only. Curriculum, supplies and lesson plans provided. Classes will be taught in a designated classroom. Bonuses provided based on student's performance on annual test. Well-behaved, respectful student loves to write and needs a teacher who is also passionate about writing. Teachers with Catholic school experience are encouraged to apply. Duties Begin class with prayer Work with student on grammar, vocabulary and writing lessons Follow lesson plans Provide instruction Work with student with flashcards to aid memorization Grade worksheets Grade writing assignments Give and grade tests Keep track of grades and provide a written report of grades and progress every 11 weeks. Finish class with prayer

Pay:

$45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Experience:

Working with high schoolers: 5 years (Preferred)
