Teaching Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Deliver instruction to high school students in English I, II, III, and IV
- Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide academic advising and guidance to students on their educational journey
- Mentor and support students in their personal and academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional materials and strategies
- Utilize learning technologies and instructional design principles to enhance student learning
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Provide timely feedback to students to promote their understanding and improvement
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching high school students
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
- Proficient in using learning technologies and instructional tools
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
