Length of Work Year 185 days Employment Type Full and Part Time Job Summary Job Summary The Brisbane School District is seeking up to two (2) Elementary Academic Intervention Teachers for the current 2025-2026 school year. This position may be filled in one of the following ways: One (1) full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher serving both elementary schools, or Two (2) part-time (.50 FTE) teachers, with one assigned to each elementary site. Under the direction of the site principal, provides leadership and support for the assessment and implementation of the District's TK-5 curriculum and instruction programs at assigned school sites. May coordinate and schedule English language arts and/or mathematics interventions for students; communicate which interventions are needed and used for direct instruction; work collaboratively with teachers and paraprofessionals; train staff on the use of research based interventions; model lessons for teachers; monitor student progress; and deliver targeted instruction during intervention to identified students based on data. The Intervention Teacher is accountable for promoting standards-based literacy and numeracy instruction across the content areas using a multi-tiered approach and evidence-based interventions. Additionally, prior to the commencement of employment, the candidate must present recent documentation confirming freedom from active tuberculosis.
