Position:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Instructor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will teach AP English (Language Arts or Literature) classes to 9th-12th grade students in both group and one-on-one settings. You'll plan and implement engaging lessons that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of your students, while developing curriculum and instructional materials that inspire learning and creativity. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assignments, and assessments, and using diverse teaching methods and performance-based assessments to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and growth in every student.
Primary Responsibilities:
Teach AP English (Language Arts or Literature) classes to 9th-12th grade students in both group and one-on-one settings Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs, interest, and abilities of each student Develop and implement curriculum, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Utilize a variety of instructional methods and performance-based assessments to promote creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
Qualifications:
Hold a bachelor's degree in English or a related field Minimum 2 years in AP English
FORMAL TEACHING
role (excluding substitute teaching) Available to work weekday evenings and

Compensation:
$25 $45 per hour based on level of experience and qualifications
