Educational Background and Work Experience:
Two years of teaching experience with a record of high student achievement (preferred but not absolutely necessary) Bachelor's degree from a competitive college or university Credential Copy ( Credential must show subject description, expiration date, and EL authorization - multi-subject or Single Subject ELA or Social Science ) CBEST passing score required Experience working with youth Willingness to apply for certification within 45 days if not already certified or credentialed Requirements / Qualifications Required knowledge and skills: Strong classroom management and presence Demonstrated mastery of subject matter Unyielding commitment to students, self and school's constant learning and development Relentlessness - doing what it takes to ensure success Team player for the school yet competitive for the class Highly organized Belief in Amethod's mission, educational model, and Core Values Strong work ethic, no excuse, and go getter attitude.
