Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Humanities and Psychology Instructor to inspire and engage students in exploring the depths of human experience, behavior, and societal influences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality instruction across a range of topics within the humanities and social sciences, utilizing innovative learning technologies and curriculum development strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a vibrant teaching style, strong research skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and meaningful dialogue. Responsibilities Deliver engaging lectures and interactive discussions on topics related to humanities, psychology, social work, and adult education. Develop, update, and refine curriculum materials aligned with academic standards and learner needs. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or similar platforms to facilitate online learning modules, assessments, and resource sharing. Incorporate research findings, social science theories, and practical applications into course content to enhance student understanding. Design assessments that accurately measure student progress while fostering critical thinking and creative writing skills. Stay current with developments in higher education teaching methodologies, learning technology tools, and subject-specific research to continually improve instructional quality. Experience Proven classroom experience teaching humanities or psychology at the university or adult education level. Strong background in curriculum development with familiarity in integrating learning technology platforms such as Blackboard or other LMS tools. Experience working with diverse student populations in higher education settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a talent for clear writing, active listening, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

$25.00 per hour
